Instead you have to drive down to the day use area where there is a canoe rental place. Now we visit their graves and remember all the summers I hope you can continue to enjoy your time there. The water is a bit shallow and I’ve seen fisherman fishing along here so, just be safe. A camping hack I like to pass on is to set up twinkly lights on the inside of the tent. The only downside was that we couldn't pull up closer to the cabin so we had to carry all our things (coolers with drinks and food, clothing, sleeping bags, etc.)

We did have a bit of a struggle finding a spot for the bear hang, but we managed. the fire pit situated with a view of the lake, and the site overall was very large compared to those we were used to at Algonquin or other more interior type spots.
